When you sign up on this website: your email address, the date and time of sign-up and confirmation, the page you signed up on, and the IP address used at sign-up and confirmation (proof of your consent). When you receive our emails: whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We do not ask for your name and we do not buy or sell address lists.
To send you what you asked for (The Defense Toolkit, the advance reader copy) and occasional briefings from Arthur Sterling. The basis is your consent, given by confirming your address (double opt-in); under the EU GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
The website, the sign-up forms and the emails run on MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Vilnius, Lithuania), which acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. MailerLite may use sub-processors, including outside Switzerland and the EU; transfers rely on the safeguards described in MailerLite's own privacy policy.
The website uses only the cookies MailerLite needs to run the pages and forms.
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. After unsubscribing, we keep your address on a blocklist only so that you are not emailed again, plus the consent record as long as needed to prove it.
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, a copy of your data, and you can object to processing. In Switzerland you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the data protection authority of your country.
